There are many words in the English language that are illdefined. Most people know what these words mean until you ask them to define such ત word. Resulting definitions are wideranging, incomplete, and vague

all at the same time. this group is Gay.

What does the word Gay mean? Some people define Gay very narrowly. Other people use a broad, all-inclusive

definition.

Still others prefer to use a mare traditional, Victorian definition.

The definitions of Gay can include B judgement or statement. They can separate or unite. They can heal or they can harm. Often the word Gay is used as part of a proclamation.

Until recently the definition of Gay included references to being happy and somewhat free of worry. Gay people were happy, carefree, and perhaps a bit eccentric. The Gay Nineties were known for such feelings, hence the name.

Unrestrained by convention, Gay can be used to describe person or persons who may be or are interested in same partners. Even mare broadly, Gay can mean anyone who is not completely heterosexual.

am!"

Something to take pride in. Gay cari mean an intense emotional dilemma. It can be a horror, something to hide. Judgmental definitions from basically good heterosexuals who cannot or will not understand serve to separate, isolate, and confuse.

Gay can be a weapon. By using narrow definitions various "gays" have become exclusive and judgmental themselves.

Gay can also be a bond, ત sheild, a shared experience, or perhaps mutual abhorrence of prejudice. Gay is also hope for happiness, for sharing, and for love.

So, what does the word Gay mean?

The candles are lit. The two steaks are ready for the grill, and all you need is your sweetums. He walks through the door and behind him is Liz. and Mary. Liz and Mary? What A nice surprise! After scowling politely at your lover, you go into the kitchen and pull out your recipe for:

PANIC STEAK

1-1 1/2 lb Steak cut into 1" x 3" strips.

1 1/2 cup Uncooked Rice.

3 cup Water.

1 Green Pepper.

1 Onion,

12 Oz. Mushrooms.

1-2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce. 1 Tsp Ginger. Salt.

Pepper.

Add Water and Rice to a pari and cook covered until water is absorbed (about 20-25 Min). Brown the steak in a separate Add the ingredients and with the rice. can be substituted for steak.
